Legal Counsel

What we’re looking for

An experienced Legal Counsel who will build and shape our internal legal function
A trusted advisor to leadership, working closely with the CEO and Commercial team
Someone comfortable navigating legal topics in a government, defense and technology environment
A pragmatic legal professional who can balance risk management with business enablement
A strong communicator able to work with internal teams and external stakeholders
Someone motivated to take ownership in a fast-growing, mission-driven company

The day-to-day

Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, particularly with government and defense customers
Advise leadership and teams on corporate, regulatory and contractual matters
Work closely with the Commercial team on contracts, negotiations and strategic partnerships
Ensure compliance with export control, regulatory frameworks and industry requirements
Manage and coordinate external law firms and legal advisors
Establish internal policies and processes for governance, compliance and risk management

You should apply if you

Are a fully qualified lawyer with several years of professional experience (law firm and/or in-house)
Have strong experience in commercial contracts and corporate legal matters
Enjoy working independently and building structures in a growing company
Are comfortable advising senior stakeholders and leadership teams
Have a pragmatic mindset and translate legal complexity into practical solutions
Are fluent in English and German (C1/C2)

Nice to haves

Experience in defense, aerospace or government contracting environments
Familiarity with export control, regulatory compliance or security frameworks
Experience supporting technology companies or hardware-driven businesses
Background working with international legal structures or cross-border transactions
Experience coordinating external legal advisors across multiple jurisdictions
