Head of Government Sales

What we’re looking for
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Head of Government Sales to design, lead, and expand our sales organization and go-to-market activities across Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for building and scaling the sales team, creating repeatable processes, and driving revenue growth with governments, institutions, and industry partners. This is a leadership role where you will directly shape our customer engagement, sales execution, and market expansion strategy, ensuring strong traction with European defense and security customers. 
The day-to-day
  • Plan, build, and lead ourgovernmentsales team and GTM organization.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy across core European defense markets.
  • Establish and scale repeatable sales processes and performance metrics.
  • Identify, qualify, and closeopportunitieswithbuyersand prime contractors.
  • Collaborate closely with Government Relations, Program Management, and the Leadership Team to aligngovernmentsales with corporate strategy and market priorities.
  • Represent the company in sales engagements, trade shows, and defense-related forums.
You should apply if you
  • Are a native or fluent German speaker (must-have), English is a strong plus.
  • Bring at least3+years of proven sales or business development experience — ideally within defense, aerospace, or dual-use tech.
  • Havea track recordof building and leading successful sales organizations.
  • Understand European defense procurement, contracting, and institutional sales cycles.
  • Network across European Ministries of Defense or prime contractors.
  • Are comfortable driving results in fast-moving, early-stage environments.
Nice to haves
  • Prior start-up experience in defense tech
  • Background in UAVs, robotics, or defense system sales.
  • Experienceand networkwith NATO or EU defense programstructures
