What we’re looking for

We are looking for a Drone Factory Manufacturing & Quality Lead to own day-to-day production execution and product quality on the factory floor. This role sits at the intersection of manufacturing, quality, engineering, and supply chain, with direct accountability for building drones right, consistently, and at scale.

This is a hands-on role for a pragmatic builder. You will plan, execute, inspect, troubleshoot, and improve production processes while maintaining high quality standards under real-world constraints.

The day-to-day

Own production execution and quality outcomes on the drone assembly line.
Ensure all builds meet quality, safety, and performance requirements.
Define and enforce in-process and final quality checks.
Lead non-conformance handling, root-cause analysis, and CAPA.
Plan and sequence production to balance quality, throughput, and delivery.
Partner with Supply Chain to manage material- and supplier-related quality risks.
Track and improve manufacturing and quality KPIs (yield, rework, scrap, cycle time).
Maintain work instructions, quality standards, and traceability.
Stay hands-on with assembly, inspection, testing, and troubleshooting.
Support ramp-up from prototype to stable series production.

You should apply if you

5+ years experience in manufacturing, production, or quality engineering in hardware environments.
Proven ownership of production quality in live manufacturing.
Strong hands-on experience with mechanical assemblies, electronics, and test equipment.
Practical experience with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
Comfortable working with KPIs, planning, and supply chain constraints.
Pragmatic, execution-driven mindset; you get things done.
Clear communicator across technicians, engineers, and operations.
Eligible for NATO or EU security clearance.

Nice to haves

Experience in UAV assembly, robotics hardware, or aerospace manufacturing.
Familiarity with IPC standards, ESD-safe work practices, or electronics rework.
Background in quality control, production testing, or factory equipment setup.
Experience working with ERP systems, inventory workflows, or traceability tools.
